Irvin Weathersby Jr.
Irvin writes and teaches when he isn’t writing. He was raised on po-boys and poetry, mostly fried shrimp and hip hop. He lives in Brooklyn and enjoys getting lost with his passport. His writing has appeared in Esquire, The Atlantic, The Root, EBONY, Killens Review, Notable Black American Men Book II, and elsewhere. He is a professor of literature and creative writing at Queensborough Community College and is represented by PJ Mark at Janklow & Nesbit Associates.
